TO LIFE

Today is one of the first days in a long time that I feel full of gratitude!!

I have been crying tears of joy since the moment I opened my eyes. I fell asleep before I could see the hostages, held in Gaza for the past two years, released and reunited with their loved ones. But the moment I woke up, my husband quickly turned on the TV and we watched as families hugged and cried, some literally shaking over the miracle of what was transpiring.

I then picked up my phone and searched on social media for more news related to the Middle East ceasefire and my heart overflowed with the scenes of love being shared, Israeli’s dancing in the streets, singing songs of peace and freedom.

Then, it happened. Ugh. Why did I do it?

A post appeared, and as I watched it, my stomach churned. My intuition screamed scroll ahead, but I was caught unprepared, hypnotized as I observed this woman spewing out hatred with a level of virulent animus I had not anticipated.

All this while the world is turning toward greater light today.

Yet I know what is happening… The darkness is spiraling out of control… and I mistakenly allowed it to envelope me for that brief moment.

Soon after, somebody shared something wonderful that brought me back to myself.

The hostages were released on day 738.

7 + 3 + 8 = 18… the number 18 corresponds to the Hebrew word, “Chai” – LIFE.

Today has been a day to celebrate LIFE.

And in my heart of hearts, no matter what is shared over social media, I believe that each and every human being wants just that – TO CELEBRATE LIFE.

We all want the same things…

PEACE. LOVE. SECURITY. HEALTH. PROSPERITY…. LIFE.

Something magical happened today. The world is lighter. A shift is taking place and those of us who are here are all a part of it. The changemakers. The light warriors. The healers. The visionaries.

G-d is looking to you to dwell amongst us. You are vessels of His light.

Celebrate freedom. Hold onto hope for more miracles. We are rising. Towards unity. Towards a world we have only dreamt about. Towards LIFE!!
